How quickly can I get my server?
Your server is provisioned automatically within seconds of payment. As soon as your payment is confirmed, your server will be created and you'll receive login details for the control panel.
What control panel do you use?
We use Pterodactyl, the industry-standard open-source game server management panel. It gives you full control over your server including file management, console access, backups, scheduling, and more.
Do you offer DDoS protection?
Yes. All our servers include enterprise-grade DDoS protection that filters malicious traffic while allowing legitimate game connections through. Our protection covers L3/L4 attacks and includes game-specific application-layer filtering.
Can I install mods and plugins?
Yes. All plans support mods and plugins. For Minecraft, we support Paper, Forge, Fabric, and custom JARs. For Valheim, we support Valheim+ and BepInEx. For Rust, we support Oxide/uMod plugins.
What happens if I need more resources?
Email support@hostsimple.io or open a ticket from your dashboard and we'll move you to a bigger plan, usually within the hour. Your world and server address stay exactly as they are, and you only pay the prorated difference for the rest of the billing period.
Do you offer refunds?
We offer a 48-hour money-back guarantee on all new server orders. If you're not satisfied within the first 48 hours, email support@hostsimple.io for a full refund. After that, plans run month to month (or quarterly or yearly if you chose that) with no contract, and you can cancel anytime.
Where are your servers located?
We have servers in the US East (Ashburn, Virginia) and EU West (Falkenstein, Germany). More locations will be added based on demand.
How do backups work?
We perform automatic nightly backups of your server. You can also create manual backups anytime from the control panel. Backups can be restored with a single click.
